The National Dental Association is the largest and the oldest organization of minority oral health professionals globally. It currently holds memberships of over 1000 dental professionals from across the U.S. and overseas. For nearly 100 years, this prestigious organization has been a national forum for dental professionals of minorities and a pioneer in the advancement of those professionals’ rights within their profession, the armed forces, and the public and private sectors. They also complement their efforts with scholarships and support programs to promote dentistry as a sustainable and attractive profession.
Dr. Lamothe is an active member and leader of the National Dental Association, serving eight years as a member of the Board of Trustees.
